Note: Compatible with 5/8 x 24 barrel threads up to .45 auto

The M*CARBO KEL-TEC SUB-2000 Muzzle Brake is designed to reduce felt recoil and control muzzle rise, improving overall shooting stability and accuracy. While highly effective, note that it will increase the firearm’s length by approximately 1″ (including thread engagement). Perfect for competition shooters and home defense applications alike.

Installation requires a standard AR-15 Armorer’s Tool or a 3/4″ wrench. To prevent cosmetic scratches during installation, apply 1–2 layers of masking tape to the brake.

We’ve transitioned to the Crush Washer Style Muzzle Brake, discontinuing the Jam Nut Version. This updated design requires a vise for secure installation, ensuring proper alignment with no exposed barrel threads. Unlike the Jam Nut Version, no Rocksett is required for installation.

For the best results, use the SUB-2000 Barrel Jaws with your vise during installation.

⚠️ WARNING:
Do not install the Crush Washer Style Muzzle Brake without proper Barrel Jaws. Improper installation may damage the SUB-2000’s plastic hinge that secures the barrel. Avoid over-tightening to prevent thread damage.

This muzzle brake combines the benefits of both a brake and a compensator, dramatically reducing felt recoil and muzzle rise. The result: more controllable rapid fire and improved accuracy for every shot.

While not required, we recommend Rocksett for optimal long-term performance. With a 1,500°F temperature rating and removable strength, it offers added security without permanent adhesion.
